corals. \u00a0Best season for Macro diving!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><strong>Winter has arrived in Ishigaki Island!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Water temperature gradually drops from about 24\u2103 to minimum 21\u2103.<\/p>\n<p>But if you have a hood vest and a boat coat, you are all set!! It is an event you would want to see.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><strong>April\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0~<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Spring to early summer~<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\"><strong>Ocean condition becomes stable. When it rains, it rarely rains throughout the day &#8211; only brief heavy rains.<\/p>\n<p>May is the season for coral spawning.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, corals spawn throughout the year but during this time of the year, we have few days when a specific type of coral spawns all at once.<\/p>\n<p>This type of coral spawns at night so we go night diving to observe this moment of miracle.<\/p>\n<p>When the coral spawning occur, all the eggs are released into the night sea. This season is the best time of the year to try going to these areas!<\/p>\n<p>The most northern area of this island, the &#8220;Hirakubozaki area&#8221;, has huge beautiful corals that you have never seen before.<\/p>\n<p>The east side of the island, called the &#8220;pacific area&#8221;, usually does not have divers.
